IPL's fever onset ...once again

"We have forgotten ABC, we only remember IPL!!!", now this is what Ahmedabadians say. Seeing this on Times Editorial truly amazes me to a great extent, perhaps ridiculously. Or should I say that as the days went on, I feel that  'cricket for cricket's sake' has changed to 'cricket for auction's sake'. Forget those old days where cheering and whistling were the only pleasures of cricket-watching, now you get a "mixed-masala". Now cricket has emerged as a full bag (perhaps a mixed one!!!) of  'mastii', 'mazaa', 'controversy', 'money-matters', 'film-stars'(now this what I have to say that cricket has extended to celebrities rather than players) and how can I forget "the great AUCTION".  Actually this what leads to a mind-boggling fan- following of cricket these days. IPL has been rocking the country since its last 3 seasons and we hope to see much more in the 4th season; lots of sixers and hundreds of wickets, scores of boundaries and whatever else you wish. Cricket has its own peculiarities(as we have read it in History), it is the only game which is not time-bounded...indeed. Each and every news channel woes to and telecast about IPL 24 hours and if it's not enough then it's all about talking with cricket fans.
Aha! now I got something interesting to share with you all. IPL's fever soaring high and our exams approaching...what a 'jodi'. Although, cricket doesn't make a larger occupancy in my mind but it really does in others...yeah...now I think I'll really get something "hot" and "fussy" to see around. Students ruffling to see cricket in the vicinity of their exams...quite interesting to see!!! The craze for entertainment(can't even call it cricket) in youths ranges from tattos to whistling their favorite team songs and of course bidding their mere Rs. 10 or Rs.20 money in their pockets. Or seemingly very intangibly quoted by Amul :- "IPL- Indian Players Lottery". And of course, we'll witness sweats and excitement getting crossed over all the winter colds. But still, irrespective of all the above mentioned exciting facts, I miss the old craze of cricket, whose excitement would adhere to our souls and protruded so much to cross all heartbeats just at hit of a bat. Now-a-days, cricket is hugely affected by the money and corruption (now this is what IPL-3 was all about). Players get attracted towards the bundle of notes given to them and then performing well never matters...all it matter is the money given to them. And how can I ever leave the devil of match fixing. Ah!... I don't want to continue with all these filthy matters.

Optimistically, I want to pray God for a honest game this time and not for a pre-decided- "Main Khilari tu anari". All I want to happen is that a Game should be played like a game but not Business avenue and if all this comes true this time then " Cricket dekhna to banta hai BOSS"...:-)

ADVERTISEMENTS- BANE OR BOON?

In this materialistic world, people seem to be more influenced by the modernisation of products through advertisements, even if they are non-aufit. Scrutinizing the fact, I find even the useless products more dominating just because of "AD'S".

Well, starting optimistically, I feel advertisements are of great importance although debating would lead or take us to longer contradictional results. They cause a competition between products of same genre and hence increase their commercial as well as nutritional values as a result of which the companies get more devoted to the betterment of common masses through their diligent products. Ad's also make us aware of new products in the market depriving of which we would still be old-fashioned. For youths, advertisements are like a craze-factor. Each and every dialogue goes intervenous in them. Advetisements are also source for information about new technos and gizmos, colleges and various institutions. They play a important role in making citizens aware of their rights and regulations through various governmental issues and ad's like "Jaago Grahak Jaago" which make us realize what power we can exercise over the shopkeepers and various other post-holders. Also they are good source of income for various T.V. channels and reality shows through which they are able to conduct so well.

On the other hand, there are tens and millions of jests and disadvantages for advertisements too. Let's check them out. Ad fever is so high thet before the exams students may not go for traditional sweets but they'll surely go for Cadbury Dairy Milk, and of course because it's a "Shubh Aarambh". Whether you ought to "Taste the Thunder" or go on to protrude "Youngistan". Or better say that the fever of advertisement is more fluent than swine flu. If I go on to include all the examples, it would be eternity or may be far from that too!!! Advertisements give rise to transient passions in our life as the trend changes within a short period of time. All of us try to become voguish these days although the look may be jokish. These days, the dressing table of not only the women, but also the men is filled with lakhs of taudry things. I feel it's exploiting or crucifying our customs and traditions. There are many papertrails in our day to day life to explain these things.

Well, I have much more to say, but limit stops me over here. Advertisements satisfies the proverb that "All that glitters is not gold"......and rest you all are quite smart to understand.... :-)

CHILD LABOUR- THE SHAME FOR CIVILIZATION

Before starting up with my views, I would like to write something very genuinely improvised by a famous personality "Child is the father of man". And why not? After all its the children which take up the entity of future citizens and make up a better world. They play an intangible role in the development of any nation. But all the above stated facts are now-a-days  trifled with the very guilty consequences of Child Labour.
Childhood is the period of toys and joys. It is the time not just for mere enjoyment but also for his mental and physical development. It's a period to hang with friends. But it seems as if all the above lines seem true or practically work true only for those who have money. Those who can't afford it are left with nothing in their destinies. It sems as if all the toys are put into hell for them. All the joys are teared like the mere pieces of papers. They have no clothes oh their body for coverage. Little children go on for work sustaining all the severity. Instead of pencils in their hands, they are given utensils to rub. Especially, in a village-dominated country like India, this type of practice is becoming more common day by day. Many a times we get updated by the condition of child labour through electronic media but our senses never react seeing this indesperate condition of future in our country.
Education makes a man dependent, commensurably it increases the broadness of mind, plus it makes a person sociable and moral by nature. A good educated person can govern his life by his own ways. A child who is not literate may earn money for his mere sustainence but he'll never realize his rights. As a result of which he'll be supressed in each and every stage of his life. So, education what we need to give but not the scrubbers. These days b
I feel that for all the happenings, if we all scrutinize carefully, there is no one to claim but we ourselves are responsible. If we wanna change this world into a real heaven, then we'll have to remove this devil of Child Labour..... That's all we can do.... :-(

What New Year brings to us?

New Year comes with the glittering treasures of joy and enthrallment along with showers of resolutions. 2010 went along taking away thousands of moments of sorrow, enjoyment, some true and bitter experiences and gifting to us new opportunity to endeavor upon  what we didn't attempted so far i.e. the year 2011
The year 2010 made us protrude into many phases of life, whether developmental or degradation. It made India intervened developmental  stage both economically and infra structurally. It took us to the heights of appreciation. Whether to talk about the world-class magnificent inauguration of Common Wealth Games or the very motivating Obama's speech on India's status. It gave India a title of emerging superpower. Turning to other side this year saw many changes in educational system too. The replacement of board system with grading system is truly remarkable, although it has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The year 2010 marks the end of the first decade of the century or better called our 'Golden 10 years' because these TEN years saw many developments in each and every aspect of life such as science, technology, economy, health, education, infrastructure, living standard followed by many ups and downs in the world.
All these promotions are very much influenced by the corrupt policies of government. The papertrail was the preparation of Common Wealth Games. Day by Day profit is made commensurable with development. Well I don't have to say much about politics. Keeping pace with developments, there was rise in terrorists powers too. Many naxalites and other groups emerged as a domineering and destructive powers. Well, the only option I have is to forget them all.
Summing it up, If I were to write all the happenings, it would be eternity for me. So..........all I just have to say is "Wishing you and your family a very hearty new year greetings and lucks for 2011".
